We do require you to use your real name, an active email address, and a textable # to complete your transactions. All transactions must be verified and authenticated by email and text. This is a requirement of your payment card company.
The payment card companies require us to keep payment records of the transactions. This payment information is stored by the payment processing gateway such as Stripe, Authorize.net, ApplePay, etc. We do not store this information.
When you use TipTributeDonate.com to give a tip, tribute, donation, your transaction is acquiring WebTokens that are then deposited into the recipients Webtoken’s wallet.
This is important to understand that your transaction with your payment card company is for acquiring Webtokens. Thats is it. No information as to how your spend or gave your acquired Webtokens is recorded!
Once your transaction has been completed – meaning it has been verified and authenticated and approved by your payment company and the Webtokens acquired deposited in the recipients Webtokens wallet, the details are purged from the system.
From this point on the details of what you have done with your acquired Webtokens is you.
In the event that the payment card company requires us to produce proof that the transaction was authorized and completed, we keep basic records of the transaction that includes your electronic signature and the email and text transcripts.
If you want to remove your account from our system all you need to do is email us your request. Once a verified request from you has been received, your account will be removed from the system. Remember though that your payment card company maintains payment transaction records. This however does not include what you used your webtokens for.
To have your account removed email your request to webtokens.com@gmail.com Note that webtoken in your wallet or that have been deposited into user accounts are not refundable.
Remember treat webtokens just like cash. Once your give it to someone you can’t take it back. So be sure you know what you are spending your webtokens on before you spend them.
